Cabinet Boxes |

Cabinets boxes are the foundation of your cabinets. It is important that you know how they are constructed and what materials are used. At Aston Black Cabinets & Design we use select materials to build the foundation of your cabinets. We use veneer core hardwood plywood. The boxes are constructed with either 1/2 inch tops, bottoms backs and sides or 3/4 inch tops, bottoms, sides and backs. |

| Face Frames |

Aston Black use select solid stock for our face frames, and it is important that your face frame is milled with extreme accuracy and precision. The frame will determine how you doors and drawers fit and how functional your cabinet will be. |

| Door Construction |

Aston Black doors are solid wood from select stock. Each door is wood doweled for reinforced support in addition to mortise & tenon joinery making sure joints are strong and unbreakable. |

| Drawer boxes |
|
|
Drawers are probably the part of your cabinets which are used most often, so we have to make sure that we build them to last. We use 5/8 inch select maple solid stock with dovetail joinery to not only ensures strength but also to make sure you get maximum space. We also use Blum hardware the industry leader for cabinet hardware. |
